Axel Fries is the co-founder and Chief Operations Officer of FinSiteful. Axel has a hand in almost all areas of the company but the majority of his time is spent on the product. Everything from planning, designing, testing, and anything else besides coding (although he wishes he could do that too). Axel manages FinSiteful’s relationships with their student users and college clients, and has spent a lot of time doing both virtual and in-person personal finance workshops for them. Lastly, Axel manages all HR, legal, and finance related work.

Axel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Davidson College where he was also a member of the Men’s Tennis Team. His hometown is Stockholm, Sweden. Axel loves bubble tea and is lucky that there isn’t a shop nearby or he’d be going over his budget every month. 🧋
